NEU: Trojan AES
The new AGM batteries from Trojan, the AES series, combine the advantages of AGM and lithium batteries. They offer a significantly higher cycle life (1,200 cycles at 100% DOD) than conventional AGM batteries. Additionally, Trojan AES batteries can be fully discharged (deep discharge) without affecting the battery's lifespan. They increase range at the same charging voltage, making them an excellent choice for intensive use. These features make the Trojan AES batteries a cost-effective and high-performance solution for golf caddies or carts.
Overview of different battery technologies
Gel Deep Cycle: The special feature of gel batteries is that the liquid electrolyte is bound in a gel through the addition of silicic acid. They are maintenance-free, so no water needs to be topped up.
TTB Tubular (wet cell batteries): With armoured plate technology, the lead plates have a larger surface area, which results in higher performance.
Semi traction battery: Semi-traction batteries are low-maintenance lead-acid batteries. Their advantage is the good price-performance ratio.
